Bubbles:
What if our universe is a bubble? What if our bubble is connected to a bunch of other bubbles? - all connected by black holes. Imagine this bunch of bubbles all connected, all expanding and contracting to achieve a mass balance. Some low mass bubbles (or universes) are expanding as they suck matter from high mass bubbles. Is this why black holes are seen to suck in matter around them? maybe this is just matter passing from one universe to another?
Our universe is expanding from one point (the point of what is thought of as the big bang). What if that point is actually the other side of a black hole as seen from another bubble? - Matter passes into our bubble universe from another bubble's black hole and as our mass increases, our bubble ruptures, much like an hernia, and we pass matter through our black holes to bubble universes of lower mass?
We know that energy cannot be destroyed so all these bubbles contain all known matter and energy, and they are trying to reach an equilibrium. Eventually all the bubbles will reach equal mass and our universe will stop expanding. What would this mean for us? What would happen to time and gravity? I would be interested to know if all black holes suck in matter at the same rate - my theory would need them to all to be different - and each black hole's rate of swallowing matter would be reducing as the connecting bubble's mass equalises.
This theory still leaves one massive question to be answered. Where did all the matter come from?
p.s I'm not a scientist so I'm most likely talking bollocks. However if you imagine what I've described as a bunch of soap bubbles it does paint a pretty picture. And yes I have probably had too much to drink.

Everyone should see this video of David Cameron's reaction to the Queen's speech and the Speaker's statement:

Michael Martin's statement on Damian Green's arrest.
Michael Martin as made his statement to the house on Damian Green's arrest. First of all I thoroughly believe that Martin is using Serjeant at Arms as a scapegoat. The very first words out of my mouth when informed by the Serjeant at Arms that the Police intended to raid an MP's office would be: "Not without a bloody warrant they won't" And I now promise to vote Labour in the next General Election if Michael Martin did not utter very similar words. And if he didn't, then he bloody well should have, and he should step down if that is the case.
The Serjeant at Arms should be sacked for incompetence and her position returned to its former stature. It's shameful in the extreme that the government are still trying to spin their way out of this attack on democracy. David Cameron had Brown bang to rights when he said that Labour were relying on their belief that the public are stupid. And when are Labour going to realise that putting Mandelson on our screens does nothing but scare the kids and reinforce the our opinion that Labour MPs are a bunch of liars. You've got be some kind of colossal idiot to believe that Mandelson will boost your party's image.
Also very disturbing is the fact that Gordon Brown refused to agree that it was wrong for the Police to raid Green's office without a search warrant. Unbelievable!
Oh - and another thing - Iain Dale asks some very important question about police warrants.

Vote - Damian Green, Did Gordon Brown or Jacqui Smith have prior knowledge of his arrest?
Personally I find it very difficult to believe that both Jacqui Smith and Gordon Brown had no prior knowledge of Damian Green's arrest by the (note: I said "the" not "our") anti-terror police. I'm also disgusted that neither of them have seen fit to condemn this assault on our so called democracy. What do you think - are they innocent of all involvement - or are they being economical with the truth?

Gordon Brown's doubles - The sign of a true tyrant?
Since the arrest of Damian Green there have been fears that we are living in a police state. What kind of Prime Minister leads a government intent on silencing criticism from the opposition? With that in mind, I noticed something when I put "Gordon Brown" into Google's image search - would you believe that I think I've stumbled upon one of the first signs of a tyrant - doubles.
I'd swear that at least three of the pictures below are of different people. What do you think?
Joke! Please don't kick my front door in - it's new.

Damain Green arrested - Welcome to third world Britain.
Welcome to the third world. Thanks to Gordon Brown we are heading towards a third world economy, and following Damian Green's arrest we are going to be seen by the rest of the civilised world as a third world state. A shadow minister arrested by a squad of anti-terror police and held for nine hours without charge for doing his job. I'm worried and so should you be. Green brought to the attention of the public, information which was of public interest. Green had to take this route because the government was trying to hide its embarrassing incompetence over its dealings with illegal immigrants.
Claims that this was purely a police operation are a complete feed of arse, and I'm sure the truth, when revealed, will be even more embarrassing for the government. I can't wait for David Cameron’s press conference this morning. For the sake of the nation and our liberty he needs to go for the government with both barrels.

Big announcement from the Conservatives tonight?
The Spectator Coffee House blog is hinting at a big Tory announcement tonight. What could it be? Re-shuffle? sacking? Call for a vote of no confidence in the government? Exciting isn't it?
Could it have something to do with Iain Dale spotting Howe, Lawson & Lamont together?

45p tax - get ready for a mass exodus of high earners.
Apparently Nick Robinson has it on good authority that Gordon Brown (via Alistair Darling) is going to bring in a new higher tax rate of 45p for those earning over £150,000 (after the election of course). What a complete and utter tw*t. I'm not calling him a tw*t because I earn that much - I don't. I'm calling him a tw*t because if he pushes through this idiotic policy, we will see the biggest brain drain this country has ever experienced. Not only that, but those that stay to pay the higher tax won't even make a dent in our massive national debt.
What I want to know is how does Nick Robinson know about this? How do we all know about tomorrows planned VAT cut? These leaks need to be stopped.

David Cameron on the Andrew Marr Show - Truth on economy not economic with the truth.
David Cameron was on fine form this morning during his interview on the Andrew Marr show (38min 25secs in). I'm sure he is looking forward to answering Brown's Pre-budget report tomorrow morning (I won't pretend it's Darling's). The main point that Cameron got over is that he and the Tory shadow cabinet are telling it as it is. I think a decent slogan for the next election would be:
